Default Corsair One Pro games randomly crashing to desktop

Hello,

I recently purchased a Corsair One Pro (got it in December) from Corsair. I only play a handful of games -
Heroes of Newerth
CS:Go
Brawlhalla
Destiny 2
Rainbow Six Siege

All games run great on max settings, but specifically Destiny 2 and Siege will crash to desktop randomly. These are probably the most taxing games that I play as well.
The crash may happen over an hour into playing where the game will just freeze, some sound is still playing, then the game shuts down and I'm at the desktop. If I run the game again, the crash can happen sooner, it's even happened within 15 minutes of restarting the game. Crashes can happen in the game no matter what I'm doing (browsing menus in lobby, in the middle of gameplay, etc.).

I opened up a ticket with Corsair and they sent me documentation on how to change the PEGO setting (Whatever that is) in my BIOS. When I went through their steps, the option to change the PEGO setting wasn't there.

So now I'm here. any help would be awesome! This is my first post so I apologize if I'm missing anything - please let me know if you need anything.

I just learned of 'View Reliability History.' I think these hardware errors are linked to the crashing. Here are the last few of them:

Hi brodels,

I think you can try to uninstall Graphic driver then reinstall the latest Graphic card driver.
you can follow below steps.

1. Download latest Nvidia driver
2. Disconnect Internet connection
2. Remove all Nvidia items in "Programs and Features"( You might need to reboot your system several times when you are removing Nvidia drivers, I prefer reboot system after removing one item everytime)
3. Check Display Adapters became "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" in device manager to ensure Nvidia driver has been removed completely.
4. Install latest Nvidia Driver via Installshield.
5. Check if games randomly crashing to desktop.

Zeph

Zeph,

Thanks! I will give this a try. I do want to note that I upgraded my graphic card driver yesterday (to the latest version, which came out late January), but have had a couple of crashes since.

I will try to uninstall the graphic driver and reinstall, and game. then will report back.

Hi Zeph,

I followed your instructions, uninstalled all things NVIDIA, and then installed the downloaded driver.
Loaded up Rainbow Six Siege and crashed to desktop ~ 20 minutes into gameplay:

Hi brodels,

It seems like many player met the same problem when playing Rainbow Six Siege
you can check below link for crash issue,
you also can try below methods to resolve crash issue.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Rainbow6/co...erator_select/
BTW, What temperature is your GPU/CPU when you playing game?
What BIOS version do you use ?
Does re-install Nvidia driver resolve Destiny 2 crash problem?

Thanks
Zeph

Thanks for the help Zeph. Unfortunately - none of that worked.

Destiny 2 just crashed on me:

Rainbow Six has crashed twice before that while I was trying those fixes.

Playing Destiny, my GPU was running at 52 C.

I opened a ticket with Corsair earlier and they're saying that they can replace my machine. I'm thinking about just going that route as I can't seem to find a way to fix these issues, nor do I know why it's happening.

Has anyone else experienced these issues? This is my machine:

CORSAIR ONE PRO Compact Gaming PC — Intel Core i7-7700K, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080, 16GB DDR4-2400, 480GB SSD, 2TB HDD CS-9000011-NA

Hi brodels,

Can you give me the serial number of your unit? Also, can you try running stress test on CORSAIR ONE diagnostic tool and let me know the result? Thank you.

I actually had my machine replaced. Corsair shipped a new one to me and I have to send the old one back. There is no crashing on my new machine!
