Maybe.

However, most people seem to think that the design and build of the Kxx RGB keyboards is very good indeed (almost certainly better than any other RGB keyboard). The uneven lighting on the keys with two symbols is the one thing that detracts slightly from how good the keyboard looks, but apart from that it's pretty well perfect.

Technically it's been disappointing due to the limitations in the RGB lighting, and that was one of the main features of these keyboards. Some people are happy to live with these limitations, others less so. It's all very well saying that apart from the lighting the keyboards are great, but the lighting is the thing that customers pay a premium for, and it's what sets them apart from keyboards with monochrome or no lighting.

The number key's and other symbol keys are an item I pointed out when I first got my K95, unfortunately only a couple of manufactures of LED KB's produces keys that solve that issue and for the life of me I can't understand why such an obvious design flaw was not corrected.

Yes we do pay a lot for the lighting, but we also pay a lot for the Cherry keys and the aluminum frame and the braided cord and the quality key caps and the per key programming etc.

Some day we will probably have a somewhat better keyboard and it will probably cost even more.

Default K70 Overloading USB hub?

After i got the latest update (enableing "16.8M colours")
i first of all noticed that any colour activity made all lights flicker, but i dont mind.
Later on i started to notice that my keyboard started acting up completely, some key's wasn't beeing recognized or a key got "virtually stuck" and pushed out like 20 characters of the same type..
I use the ripple effect with random colours, the more keys i pressed (meaning more colourwaves) made the problem worse. I turned my effect off and now i can write normally...
I dont have a good motherboard at all, but i because curious after my mouse began to act up too. its almost as if my motherboard usb controller cant handle it or something.
I hope this will be fixed in the future? Or do i have to get a new motherboard?
Have anyone else noticed anything like this?

I only see the flicker at lower color changing speeds. 6+ seconds and 10 key per second velocity on ripple and wave(same time length for gradient) is where it starts to be noticeable. Increasing the time and/or decreasing velocity beyond those settings makes the flicker quite noticeable. I'd love to see a fix for this.

If you want animated colours you're pretty much limited to the 512 colour mode.

Hey there, just dug up this thread...
sooo, since the last update the Flickering of the colors just got way worse than ...ever -.-
right now it really jumps from color to color, not a smooth flow through in the slightest.
Does anybody have the same problem?
Right now i'm rather annoyed by corsair for putting this issue up again (even though it never was really solved in my opinion)...
