foxcie95
Hello! I acquired the Corsair Void Wireless RGB headset today. I have successfully installed the drivers, downloaded user utility software and connected it up to my computer. I do get sound transferring, but only if I test the microphone by turning microphone sidetone up in the software. The headset does not seem to show up in available audio devices for windows. I have been using regular wired connections up until now, they are set as default. When plugging the usb in nothing new shows up in audio devices, so I cannot get my headset set as default. Anyone have any ideas of what I could do?
Toasted
Can you disconnect the speakers and see whether the headset shows up? You can also temporarily disable the onboard audio and see whether that resolves your issue or not. Does the headset work fine on another computer? foxcie95
The issue is resolved. The problem was simply my computer not being updated. I had over a thousand available updates as I have had windows update off for around a year. After doing this it recognized my headset as an audio device straight away :)
