Default Corsair K70 suddenly not responding anymore

Hello!

I've turned my PC on a few days ago only to find out my Corsair K70 keyboard won't respond to keypresses. Turning the LEDs on won't work either, but the media keys and lock keys keep blinking.

I tried the keyboard on another computer and the problem persists. I've sent a support ticket (#6847925) on Monday, but I haven't heard back from Corsair.

Perhaps someone here can help me?

Do you have the non-RGB K70 keyboard?

Sounds like the keyboard could be in some kind of mode like bootloader mode?

Yes, it's the old silver K70 with blue backlight.

That's what I thought, too, that the firmware somehow got messed up and there should be an easy fix to hard reset it.

The legacy keyboards are more "difficult" to fix as there isn't an easy way to reset the keyboard unlike the newer models.

I'd suggest you wait or call technical support and see whether or not they can help you.
