Can I make a macro that holds down multiple buttons?

As the title suggests I am trying to make a macro that holds down 2 buttons at the same time. However the only current way to hold down buttons is to remap one of the buttons to a key and make it hold it down. This unfortunately means that i have to use multiple buttons and that makes it difficult to have useful macros. Is there any way I can make a macro that holds down multiple keys.
