Default Support for K95 Platinum?

As I recently purchased the K95 Platinum I wanted to use its Light Edge to display some information. However, with the current SDK I am apparently unable to do so. Is there anything I have been missing to get it to work or is an update for the SDK needed?

As far as I know there was no new SDK version released after the K95 Platinum came out. The old devices didn't have such functionality so I don't think the SDK supports it either until they release a new version.

I guess that could take a while then... Capturing the data the software itself sends to the keyboard seems kinda impossible.

EDIT:
I did a little digging and found out that Elestriel apparently found a way to support it. Its not really clean, as it apparently adresses the keyboard directly and not via the SDK, but I guess it proves that it is possible to do... http://emily-maxwell.com/?path=cee
