We have never given a release date or a shipment date for the 800D, we are trying to get them out there as soon as we can, and your reseller should be able to give you an estimate on when they will be receiving the next shipment. We have seen that some people have received cases which have been mishandled by the shipper and we are working to resolve this. In the mean time if you receive a case with any problems please let us know by posting on the forum or sending an email to ramguy@corsairmemory.com.

Ram Guy: There has been no talk of release dates. What some of us are fed up with, is that the promised dates of delivery aren't being honoured. Komplett gets heir estimated date of arrival from a person at Corsair, and so far this person haven't been able to get anything right. It's a minor one this one, may even just be a matter of policy, but the expected date of arrival has just been pushed back another day at Komplett.

Release dates is only a paper thing. When has anyone ever actually made a full release, on the date they said? Example: 5850 and 5870 is to be released this week. Wanna bet that only few stores will be carrying a small number, if any? Release dates and expected date of arrival are two completely different beasts.

The whole team deserves cudos for the way you react to possible minor errors on the cases btw. If it's not about shipping something your way (WAY to expensive from Denmark), i would turn to you, before any retailer, if i had a problem. I don't think many, if any at all, companies live up to Corsairs level of customer care.

Thanks for your comments, we would like nothing more than to get these cases out to retailers in a sufficient quantity, but it is taking time. Before long anyone who wants the case should be able to purchase it with little to no wait.

Hi Ramguy, I hate this ask this but I'm wondering if by any chance Amazon will have it back in stock. I ordered from them on Aug 26th hoping to maybe have it shipped out by now but it seems they are going to be out of stock for a lot longer.

I've talked to a rep and she told me I should expect it by Oct 27th. I know I could order from Newegg or Tigerdirect has it in stock now but I'm trying to use the Amazon gift card I got a while back for this.

A 800D isn't exactly the most practical case for a LAN party...

*sighs* I've just noticed that Caseking.de had to move the date of arrival for the 800D yet again. They where set for @ the same date as my retailer, and Norway and Germany aren't that far apart. Therefore i'm in the familiar position, that i may have to see yet another delay on the arrival of this damned case.

If this is the way it turns out, i'm on the market for something else. Can't say that i will cancel my order if the cases doesn't arrive tomorrow as promised, but i wil surely be looking for something else. There are limits to a buyers patience. Mine has run out, if it isn't there tomorrow. i have a few cases in mind. just need to find a place that displays them, for one final look before deciding.

This may sound a bit much, but you know what? I'm not a young man anymore. Don't need to grow old before being able to take delivery of something as simple as a case. My hairdresser teased me enough the first time she found a tiny grey hair;-)

The day came, and shure enough: No 800D arrived at my retailer. The order is therefore canselled, and another case has been ordered. Enough is enough.

Best of luck all of you. Hope you get to enjoy your cases, and for those of you who are still waiting for it: God bless you all:-p

I'll probably buy a Corsair case the next time. One could hope that thing run smoother then, and it will be quite exiting to see, what they have come up with too. I'm sure a bright future awaits Corsair as a case manufactorer, once the initial hurdles are overcome.

^As far as i know, the case still hasn't launched officially so i don't see why you'd be upset at Corsair. But whatever, at least there's more Obsidians left for the rest of us, heh.

It's official. It's in stock right now at Amazon, NewEgg, and TigerDirect.

I'm assuming it's been officially released since people have it and it's currently available in 3 online stores.
