It would be possible for their to be an adapter, assuming that your motherboard supports addressable (3-pin) RGB. DO NOT connect the fan to a 4-pin RGB header. Bhaalspawn Posted October 5, 2019 Author Share Posted October 5, 2019 i watched a video where i saw that i would need 2 controllers!!! one to connect to the motherboard and the other one it's like a splitter to connect all the fans. c-attack Posted October 5, 2019 Share Posted October 5, 2019 They are not both controllers, but they are both required. You need a way to communicate with the software. That's the Lighting Node Pro or Commander Pro. You also need to supply the power to the lighting elements of the fan. On a LL that is quite a bit at more than 0.6A per fan. It needs its own power line and that is the RGB Lighting Hub (6 port). Both of those elements come in most multipacks. Setting this up for a single fan may not be very cost effective. Thanks for the reply. i think i already have connected both wires to a rgb header while i was switching them around. what's the consequence of this? c-attack Posted October 5, 2019 Share Posted October 5, 2019 If it was a 12v 4 pin RGB header? It may have blown the 5v 3 pin D-RGB circuit.
