Baba Yetu VI
If my motherboard is Z390, will Dominator Platinum 8GBx2 3000MHz run on it without any booting or BSOD issues? Is it true that Intel motherboard only accepts 2666MHz as the maximum memory speed?
BlaiseP
It should work without issues. The Intel specs for the Z390 chipset sets a minimum (max) supported memory speed is 2666MHz but most motherboard manufacturers support higher speed RAM on their boards. You need to look at the specifications for the motherboard you're interested in purchasing or own to determine how fast a memory speed they'll officially support. e.g. I run a EVGA Z370 Classified K (I know, not a Z390) and it supports 4133+Mhz memory.
