lshoemak
My system won't boot. Like many others on this forum, the system comes on for less than a second & shuts down. I have borrowed a BFG 1200W PSU from another system, & it boots this motherboard fine. Therefore, it is definitely the PSU? Bench-testing both PSUs produced the following voltages: 24-pin ATX power connector No code has to be inserted here. 8-pin ATX CPU connector (both of them) No code has to be inserted here. I have RMAed the initial AX850 PSU, but the replacement does the exact same thing. The Corsair AX850 states that it supports the latest ATX12V 2.31 & EPS 2.92 standards & is backward compatible with ATX12V 2.2 & ATX 12V 2.01 systems. The ASUS Z9PE-D8 WS motherboard states that it supports EATX2.0 PSU or later version. Therefore this PSU should work fine, but it isn't working. What should I try next?
