Installing Corsair ICUE software issue

Hi Everyone!

I'm having issues installing the Corsair iCUE Software. Previously I had the old Corsair utility installed, and I've removed this with REVO uninstaller. However, i still cannot install iCUE, it gets to 14% and will not continue.

The logs has this for the error:

"Error 1335. The cabinet file 'cab2.cab' required for this installation is corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package."

Things i've tried:

- Disabling Windows Defender/ Anti-Virus software for installation

- deleted 'Corsair' folders in the various APPDATA folders

- cleared Corsair regkeys

- restarted machine

- attempted to run Windows Troubleshooter (surprise... no issues found)

- downloaded multiple installers (in-case of corruption)

- I don't have a disk drive to unplug (some people have suggested this could be an issue

Any help would be greatly appreciated
