Corsariun
I just received my keyboard k70 rgb, and I see that my previous k70 is brighter. Is this normal? http://110.imagebam.com/download/2gtneK2hVqJ6V27w_MTgAg/35520/355197033/DSC_0156.JPG
Protocol48
I assume that is a K70-Mechanical keyboard-Blue. That has single-color bright blue LED's in it. It the same space of the K70's single-color LED, the K70-RGB keyboard has to fit a red-green-blue LED in there. For instance, the RGB blue LED part is smaller than the K70-blue single color LED. Generally, unless you invest and charge a Lot more money for really bright, power-hungry RGB LEDs, your K70-RGB LED on full blue will never be as bright as the single blue LEDs on full power in the K70. Sparatan117
Just wanted to say a side note. The normal setup has the "All Keys" "Arrow Keys" and "WASD Keys" as groups at the top. However somehow they retain this sort of... erm.. dim? setting. It's something that's buggy with the software. ANyways, if you delete all these groups, and then set the lighting accordingly, the lighting is much brighter. It's not as bright as the LED's that were directly under the keycaps, since there is some diffused lighting that comes as a result of the light being in the switch itself, but it is definitely noticeably brighter. It's the difference between not being able to see the colors in daylight, and being able to. Hope that helps.
