Rebated Corsair products may not be returned!

If you submit a claim for a rebate, you agree to the following terms.

 

*Corsair products may not be returned for refund once the rebate form has been submitted.

 

*Submissions must be postmarked within 21 days of purchase date to qualify.

 

So, I have 21 days to test the power supply in a system I haven't built yet (my bad). I don't see a lot of complaints about Corsair power supplies but this language makes me think it isn't worth the bother to apply for a rebate. For a $10.00 rebate, I lose the right to return a defective product.

 

Hope to try out my new power supply sometime this summer.

If it turns out to be defective, I think Corsair will replace it under warranty.

The rebate has nothing whatsoever to do wth the warranty.

In the past, unscrupulous people have bought products, filed for the rebate, then returned the product for a refund AND got the rebate. What you read above applies ONLY to a refund. Your product warranty with Corsair is still valid. This rule is to protect retailers from scammers.
