Newegg preorder pages are up. Looks like it will be shipping on April 19:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...x=-1046&y=-112

I still want a green one Corsair! With white or orange backlighting, like the M65. How about a special edition just for me?

Some retailers will be taking pre-orders for it now or very shortly. Keep an eye out!

I expect it to be soon Grizzuk. I don't have an exact ETA, unfortunately.

Ram Guy, can you confirm the ship dates from NewEgg? (April 19 for the black, May 3 for the silver?) And are these dates for US, Europe, Aus ..?

I can't confirm Newegg release dates because we have no control over them, but I can tell you its only for US because Newegg does not ship internationally.

Hey RAM Guy, following on from Grizzuk, do you have any clue as to a release date for the UK. Even a rough one will do. I need a keyboard asap but am gonna be switching between home and uni for the next month or so, just wondering if it's worthwhile holding out for the K70 or going with another manufacturer.

Thanks!

Crow: I expect EU releases to follow very shortly after US. It usually takes slightly longer for EU to get their products due to the logistics of it. However, it will also be available on our website to order as well.

Jscholt: The standard US Layout will have NA listed at the end of the part number (for example, a US K60 will be CH-9000004-NA whereas the UK version would be CH-9000004-UK).

I just got this update from Amazon. Unfortunately I can't wait this long. However I'm sure the K70 will be a nice product when it eventually comes out.

Ouch! I hope that's not accurate, newegg.com says Release Date: 04/25/2013. I have $150 burning a hole in my pocket waiting for this keyboard.

I have a competitor's keyboard but its Cherry Blacks are too strenuous and cause me fatigue on long typing sessions. Plus it's got that layout with the large enter key that I'm not fond of... Its main strength is that it weighs enough (at 1330 grams) to be a murder weapon in Clue... lol.

The K70 is supposed to be 1200 grams though that should be solid and hefty as well.

This happened with the initial release of the K60. I had an order in for months and the date kept slipping. I ordered my K60 on October 10, 2011, and it didn't arrive until December 20th. The release/ship date probably changed about six times during that timeframe. Always another week out...

It just seems that there really isn't any good information from Corsair so the retailers just keep guessing. I've never seen a manufacturer handle a product release like this before. As a consumer this kind of drives me in another direction since I don't have any idea if I am going to get this in a week or in six months....Unfortunately I'm limping along with broken hardware right now and really can't wait any longer.
