Just want to show that it gets worse results after updating the Intel ® Rapid Storage Technology Driver RSTe the X79 platform.

With Windows 8 Original Driver 8.6.2.1022 is better than the new Intel ® Rapid Storage Technology Driver 3.5.1.1009 RSTe.

Windows 8 8.6.2.1022 is not a pure RSTe but it works with X79 Platform says Microsoft.

Results are welling good but if you are careful and care so the results are a bit worse.

Not really the read performance has improved slightly and the difference of even 50 MBPs will not be noticeable.

Hey Ram GUY.

Good that you check out a little here, I have a question for you about the stripe size.

I run with the Intel ® Rapid Storage Technology Driver RSTe on a X79 platform.

Then I bought two new Force Series GT 120 GB as I get in a week.

The question now is what stripe size I should bring.

I drive but 129 kb now.

But what I now get up on X79 platform when I create a Raid 0th

Where to set the stripe size tends to be 128 kb, but on this new X79 platform, it is 16 kb already preset that intel recommends.

I always change it to 128 kb.

The question is whether it is better by 16 kb or if I should run 128 kb?

I andvänder data to the intenet.

Then I look to a lot of movies.

So the only large files I deal with are the ones to games that can be anywhere from 10 MB to 4-6 GB.

So the question is what should I have? 16 kb or 128 kb?

I have read on some of the tests. These two are the best but you can see sometimes that 16 kb is better than 128 kb.

But then is what test program that you should take with a grain of salt.

I have good results already but would be fun to make it better.

So what would you have gort?

RSTs for server systems really
