H100, corsair 800d and delta fans

I'm sure the 800D can accommodate the h100, but what about with some large fans such as this delta

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835706015

I forget the actual thickness but i wanna say 38mm???? larger than standard 120mm fan I know that.

Currently have the h70 with two of those in push pull.

one fan outside the chassis; rad and fan inside.

than 3 more deltas for the exhaust on the top.

I don't think you can mount the h100 rad on the outside unless there is a way to disconnect the block and hoses. Also I don't think i will have enough clearance with the fans and rad on the inside.

Are there holes on both sides of the rad like the h70?

Any engineering pics or testing of clearance between the h100 and top of mobo?

What do you think about using the top and bottom for intake and rear for exhaust?

Thank you in advance

Yes they will work but man you wont be able to sit next to that system when its running it will sound like a jet engine. You may have to go to the hard ware store and get longer screws, the screws we bundle at 6/32 X1.25" you may need screws that are 1.5-1.75" long with those fans.

sweeeeet dropping it in my cart as soon as i find an etailer i trust.

TY TY TY TY

noise isn't an issue i have two lamptron fan controllers with high amp rating

and when it is cranked i have your awesome hs1.

and bolt issue was solved when i first installed the h70 :)

so when you guys gonna make me an aluminium 900d. I am hoping for about 4-5 extra inches at the top, front, side, and bottom PSU areas (each dimension)

:) :) :)

maybe you guys could start building GPU water coolers that fit with your cases.

HG6970 sounds like a good name :)

Yes in deed that is what I was saying and the noise is like 68 Dba but the 250+ CFPM airflow you can use a fan controller and have some room to play with. (OKay a lot of Room) ::pirate::

Those fans move a lot of air but both the 66.5 dBA noise level and the $35.00 price are deal breakers for me, but since you already have 3 Delta fans in your case already then the added noise won't be a problem I guess.

I must agree the noise wouldnt be worth it to me but some people can handle the noise :)

Hi guys I'm back with pics and numbers.

800d now uses top and bottom for air intake (positive pressure)

4 fans on the radiator for push pull

running prime 95 to load the cores

low speed (5v)

idle is at 28 C

load is at 47 C

High Speed (12v)

idle is at 28 C

load is at 47 C

*shrug

guess ill be keeping it on low

The fans on high are tolerable but now seem unnecessary
