tcancian Posted June 18, 2020 Share Posted June 18, 2020 Hello all. I have three computers at my workplace with more or less the same setup (i7 4790K). One of them has 16 GB of RAM with 4x CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 modules but I need more memory. I thought of using two 4 GB C9 modules with 2 C10 modules (CMZ16GX3M2A1600C10) for a grand total of 24 GB which would suffice for our current work in UE4 and video-editing. So the question at hand is if the C9 and C10 modules are compatible when used on A1-A2 and B1-B2 configurations? It appears the C9 modules are a bit faster than the C10 so I thought maybe the C10 could operate slower to ensure the most compatible sync? Any thoughts on the issue? I'd grab more C9 modules but it appears there's no 8 GB per module options on C9, only C10. The C10 screenshot is from one computer with 32 GB of RAM and the other is from the one with 16 GB.
