Rasen.
So I built my brother a computer around 3 months ago and I used a 2 x 8 GB pair of Corsair Vengeance @ 3200 Mhz. This product in general crapped on us 3 months in with endless BSODs. Ran memtest and was livid( check pictures). I went ahead and contacted Memory Express for an RMA, and hoping for an update soon. I needed an immediate replacement so I just went ahead and bought the Patriot viper RGB on the spot. I'm a big corsair guy myself as I rock a VOID PRO RGB wireless headset, K68 RGB , and a Harpoon Mouse RGB. I never had any Corsair product crap on me and I was just disappointed for the span of 3 months it went out. Any one had issues like this? For my second question, how long do RMA's usually take? thanks. Images: https://imgur.com/a/igOjxvt https://imgur.com/a/lFsecKH Edited July 21, 2019 by Rasen. Rasen.
So I bought a pair of 2 x 8 GB Vengeance LPX ram and it was faulty after 3 months so I talked to MemoryExpress (retailer) and they took it back in and said they would handle everything for me. I left it with them on the 19th. How long do RMA's usually take? and How long would I have to wait to get the replacement item? Should i ask them for a reference number / RMA number? thanks
Administrators Technobeard Posted July 24, 2019 Administrators Share Posted July 24, 2019 I'd suggest asking Memory Express. Their RMA process may not involve us. They may be RMAing through their distributor, or testing it first (or both), and stores / distributors may wait until they have multiple items to send to the next layer up before sending something in, and so on. The store would have the best idea as to how long their replacement policies take.
