TeaSast3r
Hello guys, i am new i the forum, so greetings! I would like to ask the original Corsair Hydro Series H100 (CWCH100) is compatible with the new AM4 socket? Soon planning to upgrade from my LGA 1155 and having this cooling system for 5 years now, but it's perfoming great inside the 650D case! Thanks! TeaSast3r
Am i missing something? Because it seems Corsair didn't release a new bracket for H100 to work on the AM4, so i have been left with a water cooler that simple won't work...
snapper69
Your best bet would be to use the Support Ticket System link above your first post (you will have to register, your log in from here won't work) and ask Corsair if it's possible.
TeaSast3r
The officiall reply to the ticket was: "Please visit the following link for our list of confirmed compatible coolers for Ryzen: http://www.corsair.com/en-us/ryzen " Seems there isn't any way to make H100 work with the new AM4. Thank you for your responses!
whitehawk
Hi, I have the same cooler, and I was looking for the same info. I haven't tried yet, but I found this: https://www.overclock3d.net/news/cases_cooling/corsair_releases_socket_am4_compatibility_info/1 it says: "Below is Corsair's clip based AM3/FM2 mount design, this mounting design will support AM4 as AMD has made their new clip-based CPU cooler mounts backwards compatible with older clip based cooler designs." "If you CPU supports AMD's clip-mounting mechanism, then your cooler already supports AM4. " and the picture below this, shows the mounting how it is done for that model of the H100. I think this is promising.
