GamerGirlAlice
i know the Airflow PRO connects to the link system my question is ho dose it do it??? i am doing up my EVGA/Corsair machine. i have a EVGA P55 FTW 200 powered by a i7 860. in a previous post i found the Dominator® with DHX Pro Connector and Airflow II Fan — 16GB Dual Channel DDR3 Memory Kit (CMP16GX3M4A1333C9) will give me the best bang for the buck and i am going o put a Airflow PRO on it as well. my question is how would i hook up the 4 ram to the Airflow PRO and link cooling system. edit: i was told i probably should at least get 1600 speed ram, so with that in mind im thinking the Dominator® with DHX Pro Connector and Airflow II Fan — 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 Memory Kit (CMP8GX3M4A1600C8) be best kit for me
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted April 2, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 2, 2012 As long as the memory part number starts with a CMP or CMT they will have the connector for use with AirFlow Pro.
MrFizzbin
We have to wait Alice.. For some reason the data cable will be different than the ones currently supplied with the Link unit.
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted April 4, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 4, 2012 Oh yes sorry missed that part the cable for the Link to connect to Air Flow Pro, and I am not sure how long it will be before it is available. But I do know it has been developed and approved so we can expect it at any time.
MrFizzbin
And the next question is: Will it cost us about $20.00 to buy and ship, even though in my humble opinion it should of been free with either the AirFlow pro or the Link unit itself to begin with... Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted April 5, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 5, 2012 I am sorry but I don't know what the cost will be but I really doubt it will be that much. We have to wait till its available.
MrFizzbin
You forget your International (UPS) shipment cost my friend. It will cost that much to get that $1.00 data cable to your Canadian customers. Oh, and any work on that cable? It's nearly a month since I last asked..... Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted April 30, 2012 Corsair Employee Share Posted April 30, 2012 I would contact our customer service when it is available and I am sure they will take care of you. But I am sorry to say I do not have an update on the cable availability at this time.

taz4950
I just called Corsair customer support and was informed that "they are scheduled to be in at the end of the month". Whom should I call to get my cable as it seems that support does not know what is going on in shipping?
