I honestly feel like this is the case, every update that comes out seems to bring more issues than solutions to old bugs... I honestly don't understand how they make this possible

I think it has something to do with Link's task schedule settings needing administrator access to run it at startup and this could be modified. There was also another reason for the introduction of administrator level access to Link that Red Ray talked about and said was possibly not needed. I will try to dig up the post.
I have analyzed the windows scheduler and checked the properties of the task, which starts the corsair link.
In the security options of the window, indicates that the task will always run with a user account, which in this case is the account of my user who installed the corsair link.
I already tried to change this account to "users" or "system", but even so, when entering with another account, different from mine, the corsair link does not start automatically after a cold boot.

Any other tips?

Corsair could try a little harder and solve this little App bug.

I'm sorry. I abandoned Link for SIV long ago because SIV offers more granular control, offers features not available in Link, uses a fraction of the CPU overhead, and is rock stable. I only run Link when I need to update firmware. So I don't recall how to tell Link to use the coolant temp as the control variable. I do know that it can do this as this problem pops up often and people are advised to use coolant temp instead of CPU temp.

Hopefully Corsair or someone familiar with Link will chime in here. You may want to have a look through the Cooling section of the forum or in the Link Setup guide (if there is one). Good luck!
