c-attack Posted September 5, 2019 Share Posted September 5, 2019 Not overly important and mostly to preference. However, do leave a little space up top. It doesn't need to be much and most res tops have a little bit in those few millimeters. You will see some measure of evaporation over time. Obviously have enough in there to keep the pump from running dry if you were to tilt the case. The liquid also acts as coolant for the pump. You don't ever want it running without fluid.
