Vengeance RGB Pro 4000Mhz - XMP profile won't post

Hi All,

So I am having issues with my Vengeance RGB Pro 2x8gb 4000Mhz not being able to post when enabling the XMP profile. I can enable the XMP profile but then I need to underclock the frequency of the ram to 3533 mhz. Anything above 3533 and the system does not post.

I suspect it's due to timings or voltages or something, but I am fairly new to this and I don't want to do the wrong things. So does anyone have any idea on how to get the rated speed on my system, or should I rather look at returning these and getting another kit of ram?

PS: I have tried using DRAM Calculator, but when I choose any frequency above 3600, it says not supported.

Getting your ram to run at DDR4-4000 probably is't worth it as it would force your Ryzen CPU infinity fabric to drop into 2:1 mode.
