Tinker765
Hello, I purchased the Corsair 350d yesterday and very happy with it, But today i noticed there is a loud vibration noise... So i opened up the case to find out what was causing it, i stopped all the fans etc and the vibration noise was coming from the hard drive cage. Has anyone else encountered this problem with this case? If so any tips to stop it? Thank you!

snapper69
My 900D has developed an intermittent vibration that stops when I press top of the Hdd cage. It seems well screwed in place too.
Corsair Wizard
I would suggest removing the HDD cage to see if there would be a difference or any physical flaw to the case. I have seen rescrewing the case down have seemed to help the issue.
snapper69
When I checked the screws on the back of the cage, I found that one of them was loose. i tried to tighten it up, but it kept turning, so I removed it and tried to find a slightly larger one. Then I noticed that it was no longer vibrating, so I left it out and so far, no vibration.
chris_61
Whats my options with this case? I cant stand the vibration noise anymore?
snapper69
You could try putting thin rubber washers between the mating faces where the screws fit and then screwing them down again. You could also check if one of your HDD's is causing the vibration, although it's more likely that the vibration is coming from elsewhere.
Harry Vederci
I have the Cosair Apollo White from Digital Storm. Since Day 1, the HDD cages have vibrated especially the one holding the HDDs. This is is unfortunate because it is truly a Desktop computer with the case about 18" from my ear. I also have problems with the left door vibrating causing me to have to open up the door to stop the vibrations. Is Cosair going to do anything about this? Does Corsair even acknowledge this problem? Does Cosair offer any solutions other than putting a brick on top of the HDD cage? I am not the only one who has this problem I see
snapper69
Shouldn't it be down to Digital Storm to sort out any problems? They built it and sold it to you.
