iCUE and Hydro X

I would like to increase the Corsair pump speed and fans when either the CPU or GPU reach certain temps. Is it possible to increase the fan/pump speed based on either sensor? It appears as though I can only select one.

Also, what is the best practice for the iCUE config with the Hydro X products? I have the XD5 pump sensor connected per the documentation. Should I use the Hydro X performance profiles? Can someone clarify how the notifications work?

You can only control speeds/fan curves based on a single value. The proper control value for the HydroX fans and pump is actually the coolant temperature. This will increase based on load from either the CPU or the GPU ... and it's the coolant that's actually cooled in the radiator, not the GPU or CPU (these are cooled, in turn, by the coolant).

Using the HydroX profiles is completely up to you. You can actually look in the HydroX FAQ and get the actual curves for those profiles.
