Gomez Adams
I just bought a new Corsair K68 on sale today and wonder: Why are all of the bracket, colon/semicolon, equals/plus and other keys upside down? https://i.imgur.com/Mf311bc.jpg Is it just the K68 that's this way or is it all Corsair Keyboards? I have never in my life seen a keyboard with those keys installed upside down before. Apophis3
It's a Corsair thing. The LEDs are mounted high, so they want the main keystroke to be on top to illuminate it.
Gomez Adams
It's the dumbest, most moronic, ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Took the keyboard back, got a refund and bought a Cooler Master. Shame too. I liked the action of the Corsair better, just can't deal with an incompetent layout of upside down keys. c-attack
Once you get past the initial adjustment, it really only matters if you are hunting and pecking for keys. Hard to see which is top/bottom with your fingers over it. Regardless, there are several brands that set their keyboards up this way for lighting purposes, so do mind your step.
