sdarkpaladin
Occasionally when attempting to charge my Void wireless headset, it will not charge and windows will inform me that the USB port has a power surge. I have searched the internet and found people with similar issues but no solutions. I am running CUE 1.16.42. I've tried updating CUE and the headset but the program said that it is up to date. Toasted
Try a different USB port and charging cable (MicroUSB to Type A cable). if Windows still reports a surge, You will probably have to replace it via warranty if the headset is still in its warranty period of two years. https://corsair.secure.force.com/
Krelsis
I have the same issue, for a while, i was able to get away with it by using a weaker cable, but now that's no longer a valid alternative, as now when charging, the headset has a tendency to turn itself off. Would I also be able to get it replaced via warranty if less than 2 years old but bought elsewhere and not directly from corsair? Would I need the original receipt? Because that, I more than likely do not have.
sdarkpaladin
I bought mine from a store that carries Corsair products. I'm not sure if that's what you meant. I produced the original invoice from the store, and Corsair is now preparing to ship a spare cable.
Toasted
@Krelsis The warranty will apply to products purchased from authorised resellers. A receipt will be needed as it is used to confirm a valid warranty period. Contact your retailer and see whether they can provide a replacement receipt.
