Default k70 lux rgb vs strafe led brightness

I read the strafe has brighter leds than the original K series rgbs. Is it the same for the LUX (using USB2.0).

I think what's helping the Strafe with brightness is the white backplate that reflects the led colours and adds opacity. The K70 doesn't have the white backplate and is reflecting off the brushed aluminium (black) base.

Best

The Strafe also as a bigger font on the keycaps that lets more light shine through. The LUX series (and all other new recent keyboards) all have the same new bigger font on the keycaps as well.

The strafe has brighter LED's than the original K70. This was tested with the keycaps removed so the backplate was not a factor. The Strafe is 30% brighter. This was mentioned in a youtube review comparison comparing the K70 RGB and the Strafe RGB.

The Ducky Shine 5 is brighter than the original K70 RGB in default "USB 3.0" power mode. That was ducky's marketing at the time to compete with the only other Cherry MX RGB board on the market, the K70 RGB, as Ducky used 3528 SMD RGB's and a double PCB (since 3528's cant fit under the cherry MX housing, they are on a separate PCB). In USB 2.0 mode (which no one should ever use; even the Abit BH6 USB 1.1 motherboard will support the "USB 3.0" power mode), the Shine 5 is about the same brightness as the K70 RGB.

The Strafe RGB is brighter than the Shine 5, but not by much.

What about the k70 lux? Aside from white backplate/font difference, is it (just the led) 30% brighter than the original k70 like the Strafe is?
