mkanet
I know that there's no official support for the P256 firmware updater to run on a bootable CD-ROM. However, I know it can be done with the right OS/drivers for the bootable CD-ROM since the samsung firmware update software doesnt know the difference what media it's booted from. I'm hoping someone wouldnt mind either PMing me or answering here what they used to do it. People who dont know how to do it, please dont bother posting. Since there's no official support, Id prefer not to get a reply from Corsair tech support just to say it's not officially supported. Thanks, MKANET

Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted September 27, 2010 Corsair Employee Share Posted September 27, 2010 There have been some people who used a Win 98 Boot CD or Floppy and did the update. You can get the image from http://www.bootdisk.com and then use an image editor to edit the image if its a CD Image.
Synbios
ultimate boot CD works fine, just boot it up and run it in DOS, the flash drive or CD drive should be readable from the booted DOS prompt.
