OK, I am having this problem too. Have Corsair P128, CrystalDiskInfo shows firmware level 0956 (and not much else). Installed Windows 7 32-bit, fine for a while, then slowed down.

Ran ATTO Benchmark, getting 40MB/sec for 4K read/write test. Tops out at 140MB/sec read & 120MB/sec write.

Created USB bootable per Yellowbeard post 443844 on how to @ http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?t=85816 then expanded Samsung firmware per RAMGUY post 431478 @ http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=83708 ... nothing!

Help! Very frustrated!

I would suggest using Accronis to make and image of the drive (if you are using Windows) then use Parted magic to Wipe the drive under tools select Erase Disk and Secure Erase and then, install the drive on the system you will be using it as a second HDD and format it with the QUICK Option Only and 32k Allocation then test it with Atto again to be sure its running properly then delete the partition and image the drive back to its original image and you are done.
