Hems89 Posted June 16, 2010 Share Posted June 16, 2010 Hi, As the Dominator GT ram cooling fans are very loud, I want to buy something to controll the fan speed. But some of these devices to controll fan speed only support fans up to 3 watts or 6 watts, and I was wondering if 6 watts is okay. and I suppose they are normal 12V fans, right? Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted June 18, 2010 Corsair Employee Share Posted June 18, 2010 I do not have the exact information in front of me, but I can tell you that the fan definitely uses less than 6 watts, and likely less than 3 watts.
