WillyT
I got my headset a few days ago and so far I love it. I happened to leave them on during the day today and the charge ran out while I was gaming tonight. One of my gaming buddies said that he's used his pair while charging before, but when I tried it the headset wouldn't connect. Is this supposed to work? Its not really that important because normally I would keep them charged before each use. It was just an inconvenience tonight.
Toasted
The headset should work even if the charging cable is plugged in. Did the L.E.D. on the dongle stay solid when the charging cable was connected?
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted January 7, 2013 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 7, 2013 The USB cable should only be charging as it doesn't connect through the interface.
WillyT
The dongle starts flashing shortly after connecting to the charge cable.
WillyT
Could it be that charging takes up too much power from my USB slots? I have a keyboard, mouse, the charge cable and dongle, plus an external hard drive (separately powered) all connected through my backside USB slots. Toasted
Have you tried turning the headset back on when the dongle starts flashing?
WillyT
It looks like I fixed the problem. I switched around some stuff in my USB slots and magically it works now. To answer your last question though, yes the headset would not re-connect after it had disconnected.
