win8sadface Posted January 4, 2013 Share Posted January 4, 2013 OK! I'm going to make a fresh post instead of tagging on to the bottom of an old one... I just built my new PC... running windows 8 64 bit pro... i used the windows 7 compatibility mode which did nothing, but While in the application properties i noticed a box saying the program had been blocked, once "unblocking" the program i was able to install, but there is a failure at the end of the download, so it aborts... The headset did not just plug and play before attempts at installing the drivers... Yes, the device is in my manager...(note) DEVICE HAS DROPPED FROM MANAGER, NO WHERE TO BE SEEN, EVEN WHEN CONNECTED W/ CHARGING USB... Both hubs show up in bios though Yes, the device shows that it is properly synced on the dongle and headset. update: after a break, i came back to my PC to try and install the driver one last time for ***** and giggles... now it demands i connect the headset before trying to install, even though the device is obviously connected... No, i am not plugged into USB 3.0 OR the front ports of my PC. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Toasted Posted January 4, 2013 Share Posted January 4, 2013 So you cannot install the drivers right? The device was listed in Device Manager and now its not? Is the L.E.D. on the dongle lit?
