oscrob93
As the title says, I'v recently bought this headset yesterday, the thing i'v noticed while using it is a constant static/white noise sound which stays the same no matter what volume my computer is on, if i mute my sound or unplug the wireless USB from my computer then this static sound stops. Also when trying to install the new drivers for this headset it crashes while installing and freezes up my computer, i am using windows 8.1 and trying to install the Beta Driver v2.0.19 for Windows 8.1. Just noticed it makes a buzzing type sound when my headset is charging and friends could hear it via skype Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks :D:
Toasted
Have you tried installing the drivers in safe mode?

oscrob93
Could it be that i'v got corsair k90 installed already? Or other drivers causing it to crash?
Toasted
No, the K90 drivers won't cause the OS to crash. Check Event Viewer and see if you can find any entries related to the freezing.
oscrob93
okay il check that out =) also when trying to uninstall an audio program the other day, this came up "Error 1704. An installation for Corsair Headset Software is currently suspended. You must undo the changes made by that installation to continue. Do you want to undo those changes?" this was after the pc crashed while installing the corsair software

Toasted
Run SFC /SCANNOW in command prompt and see if that helps. Have you tried booting Windows 8.1 with driver enforcement disable? Does it help?

Toasted
Does the older driver versions install fine? Latest updates for all your devices and Windows? Have you tried disabling your on-board audio controller in the BIOS?
