jopierce
So, the update won't work in RAID mode, and I currently have my drives setup in RAID 0. Can I break my array, and boot from my old OS drive, perform the update and then switch back to RAID mode w/o ruining my array, or will I have to reinstall? I've only had 1 issue with the array since I got the drives, so I'm not sure I'm going to update the firmware just yet, but it may be a possibility for the future. The error I got was a STOP error, and the system attempted to dump to a file and it appears to have just frozen there. Hitting the reset button, the system froze trying to detect the Force GT, powered off and on, and all was fine. I have not yet installed the Intel matrix drivers or attempted the LPM fix so I'll likely do those first. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
jopierce
Well, I tried it and it worked. Updated to Firmware 1.3. I guess I'll keep that old OS around just for firmware updates and whatever. Let's see if I get any more STOP errors.
