K70 RGB Keyboard - log errors

In reviewing the C:\Users\*user*\AppData\Local\Corsair\HID\logs there are log files number 0.log through 4.log plus a tmp.log each containing dozens to hundreds of entries like the one below:

[2014-10-13T10:11:18]: Buffer write failed, 1.Execution result = 0, result = 1, platform error code = 0, internal device status = 1.

What does the "Buffer write failed" message mean and why so many?
