Alkahest
Case: 600T Motherboard: MSI P67A-GD55 I only have one header that supplies one set (2 of the 4) front USB 2.0 ports. I can't seem to find where I can plug the second cable to power the other 2 ports. Not a huge deal, but I'd rather not have two dead ports on the front of my case. Is there any way to split the connection off of the motherboard to supply power to all four ports? I can do an addon PCI card (I think), but it seems I already have an abundance of USB 2.0 ports. I'm using the onboard USB 3.0 header to supply an addon USB 3.0 card out of the back. Any advice?
dlwilliams12
This is what I use. It's a NZXT usb expansion module. http://www.amazon.com/NZXT-IU01-Internal-Expansion-Black/dp/B0031ESKJA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1299445381&sr=8-
denydog
I second the NZXT board, and have recommended it in this forum before. I first used a PCI card that gave me one internal USB header (along with a couple regular USB ports), but due to the PCI card's drivers, I had a lot of problems. The NZXT doesn't need its own drivers, so no conflicts.
