Well i guess I am ressurecting an old thread, but I just got my TR3X6G1600C8D and my EVGA e-758 with a i7 930 and no matter what I do I am unable to get the ram to run stable at 1600 when in windows. Is the consensus that RMA is the only option to fix this issue with these guys?

It's a motherboard problem. My X58 just does not like that RAM. My TR3X6G1600C8D will run memtest forever but blue screens in windows. The same ram runs flawlessly in an ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 and another brand runs great in the X58. I just swapped them from one machine to the other. Both machines run great by just enabling the XMP profile 1.

If you want it to run on your board, Up the Dimm voltage.
