Sad Asus Striker Extreme + CM2X1024-6400C4 not working

Hi

I'm having a problem when I use both memory modules, my system runs fine with just 1 memory module in but as soon as I put both in the system starts up goes into windows then bluescreens.

My system is

ASUS Stricker Extreme - Bios 1102
Intel Duo E6600
2 x 1GB Corsair XMS2
BFG 320MB 8800GTS OC
Hyper Type R 580watt

I think the problem may be with my bios settings, can anyone give me the correct bios setting to get my system working with both memory modules or have any ideas why it doesn't work?

Thanks

Latest BIOS version is now 1301 which includes updates for "Enhance memory compatibility under full load (4 DIMM)". I've been struggling with memory stability for a long time but this update seems to have done the trick. I'd give it a go first of all.

That seems to have done the trick. Although my motherboard temperature had gone up to 45 degrees now according to PC Probe II.

Does anyone know what the safe operating tempratures for the Striker are or the best way to lower the motherboards temperature?

Thanks

Good case cooling is the key to lowering the MB and or case temp. Do you have more than one case fan and if so how many and where are they in your case?
