Question Thermal Paste for HydroX GPU

I need to repaste a HydroX GPU water block, and it is the first time I'm doing this kind of thing.

Any recommendation on
  • Which thermalpaste? Could there be problems with certain pastes and HydroX?
  • Do I put the paste on the GPU or on the cooling block?

Thanks for helping!

You can use arctic mx-4 or noctua one.
I suggest to put it on gpu ( thin layer).

We recommend to use the XTM50 High Performance Thermal Paste Kit or TM30 Performance Thermal Paste. They are available in US.

If you cannot purchase one of these a MX-4 or one with similar specs will be OK.

Apply a thin layer to the GPU die.
Prior to that it's recommended to clean both surfaces, GPU die and GPU contact surface of GPU water block with isopropyl alcohol with Q-tip or lint free cloth.
