kondi
Hi, I have a pretty old PC Acer Predator G3-605 which motherboard is powered with a 12 pin. I decided I had to change my PSU because of a new graphics card. And now there is a problem for me. Just bought Corsair RM850x and it doesn't have 12 pin connector. What should I do now? Is the motherboard useless and too old? I'd like to keep my PSU since I already have some corsair RAM and I'm happy about them.
Corsair Employee Corsair Notepad Posted December 20, 2019 Corsair Employee Share Posted December 20, 2019 Reach out to Acer and see what options they can provide. If all they have is a 12 pin connector on the board they aren't using the ATX standard for power.
Vegan
The machine uses the standard ATX format PSU. The 2x12 cable should fit, make sure its the right way around. I had quite a few Acer machines in the shop, no surprises Edited December 25, 2019 by Vegan
