5200x Posted September 5, 2013 Share Posted September 5, 2013 128 Neutron SSD not showing in my Laptop I just received this as a replacement for an older Corsair Performance 3 128 that Died a month ago but never tested it in my laptop just my main computer. But now I want to put it in my Laptop but it will not show up? It works in my main comp fine but doesn't show in my Laptop Bios or Parted magic I have another SSD I have been using in the Laptop and it works fine. 5200x Posted September 6, 2013 Author Share Posted September 6, 2013 Found the problem:cool: The drive did seem to plug in a little too easy so I got out my flashlight and checked how it was plugging into the Laptop. It turns out the Neutron was sliding under the SATA and power ports and not plugging in. It seams the Neutron drive is a bit slimmer than my other SSD drives so it was sliding under the ports. :roll: How weird is that:o: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
