murness
Hello, I have been testing the 8GB Padlock 2 on a couple different systems. I have no issues under Windows 7 or XP, but if I attempt to use Solaris 11.1 based on the Linux 2.6.27.39-0.2-pae kernel. I enter my key code, insert it into the Solaris system, it shows me a greyed our USB device that I cannot mount. If I look at it in fdisk with the command fdisk \dec\sdb, and print the tables, it shows me that it knows about the partition: /dev/sdb 6 10225 8093696 b W95 FAT32 Anyone have any ideas. Linux is not my strong suit. Thanks, Mark Urness
Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted March 24, 2010 Corsair Employee Share Posted March 24, 2010 I am sorry the best place would be on their forum but it should auto detect and work especially if its working in Windows7 and XP. You might try and format the drive with the SD-CARD Organization.
