465x plus H100i Plat SE 240mm?

Just put a system together and I have never used AIO before only air coolers.

 

Was looking to buy the Corsair 240mm H100i Plat SE to go inside my 465x case.

 

In the specs for the case it states only 280 or 360 upfront which is where I would like the radiator, so can I use this 240mm in this case upfront or not?

 

Also having the 3 LL fans already that I guess I can use for the radiator? can you buy this aio without the 2 fans included?

 

Anyone have this setup with some photos?

Yes, it can fit in the front. It is listing the maximum radiator size for each fan type (120/140mm). You most likely cannot top mount it.

 

No, all Corsair AIO coolers come with fans. The Platinum may not make sense if you don’t have a use for the ML-RGB. The new H100i XT would and is slightly less expensive. Same cooler, cheaper included fans, black trim. The other option is the H100i Pro which will be less than either but with a single LED section on the pump ring vs individually addressable.

Thanks for your quick reply, reason I was looking at this cooler was due to the white colour which would like nice in this case which is white.

Quite right. I glossed right over the little SE on the end. That is the only white cooler at this point. The fans have value and you may find another purpose for them.
