folush Posted March 15, 2004 Share Posted March 15, 2004 Hi. I was trying to install Value Select RAM chip (VS256MB400) on M952 PCChips motherboard. When I setup RAM run at "auto" or "CPU+0" in "CPU PnP Setup" the BIOS returns three beeps. It works ok when I reduce RAM speed to "CPU-33" or "CPU-66". I am running P4 2.6 800FSB and do not overclock it. I thought of upgrading the RAM, but is it worthy if it doesn't run on 200MHZ. Maybe I should go for higher grade of RAM or instead of PC3200 get PC3500?:confused: What would you suggest? Any help is greatly appreciated.
