Pooley Posted October 10, 2013 Share Posted October 10, 2013 I know a lot of people have had issues with a high pitched whining noise from this cooler in the past however from what I've gathered it seems like the issue was either fixed with a firmware update or through receiving new fans from Corsair. My issue is slightly different as the noise is coming from the pump itself. It is not a rattling sound as you might expect, it is a steady high pitched whine. I have tried running the system without the pump being plugged in and the noise stops. I have also run the pump without the fans and the noise is still there. Does anyone know of a way to fix this issue or will I have to apply for a RMA? I should also mention I have replaced the stock fans with SP120 Quiet editions.
