[Scimitar] Macro not working - Macro function Unavailabe - Possible Solution

I've came across the same problem that a bunch of people had. Bought the mouse, but when I installed the software that mfíng yellow message popped up in the software, making it unavailable to use the 12 side buttons.

Installed on 2 other different computers with similar hardware and software. Same thing.

Then I found an "older" ( way older lol ) version of the software on Corsairs' website itself.

It worked on all 3 different computers.

So if anyone else is still having this problem and is looking for a possible solution, I'd try CUE v1.16.42 ... It seems to work perfectly in every computer we've tried.

Are running Windows 7 and seeing a "Windows unable to verify the digital signature..."?

If so, Install the hotfix found in the thread below and see whether that resolves your issue;
