skr.csr
Just purchased a Vengeance® Pro Series — 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 DRAM 1866MHz C9 Memory Kit (CMY16GX3M2A1866C9). It won't run at the advertised speed (1866) -- SPD says 1333. What do I do now? Return it? Or is there some super-secret bios code that I have to enter to get this memory running at the advertised speed? Actually I'd be happy to have it running at 1600. Thanks in advance for any help! Yellowbeard
Enable XMP in the BIOS. This will automatically set the memory to run at it's rated timings and voltage.
