Arizona Willie
I set my lighting to be solid Red for nighttime and solid White for daytime. The white is BLUE not white. The numbers show 255 255 255 so it should be perfectly white but it is not. How can I fix this?
Corsair Employee Corsair Henry Posted September 19, 2016 Corsair Employee Share Posted September 19, 2016 Hello, Please call into tech support and have them assist you with a hard reset to see it will address the issue. If not, this unit will need to be RMA.
Arizona Willie
Well I did the Hard Reset but it didn't fix it. I discovered if I turned the brightness all the way up it helps a little bit but it is still visibly blueish ... not white. But I'm not going through the hassle of RMA and being without a keyboard (well I could use my old one I suppose ) just for this color problem. I can probably choose another color. I think I will experiment and try to make it blue and see what happens if I fiddle with the RGB values.
neelix
I just got a K95 and it's the same way. If you pull a key cap you can see this is a consequence of using an RGB LED to approximate white. They would need to use an RGBW for true white. I edited my Blue to 240 which looks a little cleaner white just lower intensity.
