icer22x
Just got my HS1A in today. Great sound and very comfortable. Unfortunately I am getting a faint static whenever a webpage has to load data - be it the initial load, scrolling, mousing over links... it's very strange. My set-up is listed in my profile, but just to makes things easier: Win 7 x64 Mobo: Gigabyte x58A-UD3R rev. 2 I am plugged into the front of my A_N_T_E_C (forum is blocking out their name for some reason so I had to spell it like that) P180 case. EDIT: I have tracked this down to the front panel in my case. If I plug it into my motherboard, it's fine. Although, I can't get as high volumes for some reason... it's weird. Has anyone experienced weird static from a front panel in a P180B? I've heard of this grounding issue coming from other model cases like the 300... Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted May 4, 2011 Corsair Employee Share Posted May 4, 2011 If you only have the issue when using the front I/O panel of the case, then I would suspect that there is a grounding issue. Can you test the HS1A on a different system in the front I/O panel to see if you get the same issues?
